[ENG] The PASS method is the correct way of using a fire extinguisher. Each letter of ‘PASS’ represents an action to be taken, in a certain order. ‘P’ is for pull the pin. ‘A’ is for aim low at the base of the fire. ‘S’ is for squeeze the fire extinguisher’s lever. ‘S’ is for sweep from side to side until fire is out or extinguisher is empty.

[PL] Metoda PASS to poprawny sposób używania gaśnicy. Każda litera „PASS” oznacza kolejne działanie w określonej kolejności:
– „P” – wyciągnij zawleczkę (Pull the pin),
– „A” – skieruj nisko na podstawę ognia (Aim low at the base of the fire),
– „S” – naciśnij dźwignię gaśnicy (Squeeze the fire extinguisher’s lever),
– „S” – omiataj od lewej do prawej, aż ogień zgaśnie lub gaśnica się opróżni (Sweep from side to side).
